  • A Must Read for Anyone Who Has Ever Felt Alone - Braden O’Donnell

Growing up can be difficult, especially when you have no life experience or frame of reference.

In her debut novel, Becoming Me, Again, Natasha Soregoreli presents her readers with an unfiltered coming-of-age self-help book that shines with raw vulnerability and quiet courage. With an authentic and unedited teenage voice that is striking, beautifully flawed, and deeply relatable, Soregoreli invites readers into her inner world—one filled with confusion, hope, heartbreak, and self-discovery. As Soregaroli says, herself, this is a story of learning to love [herself] again… and she unapologetically shares her experiences and struggles with self-confidence, body image, navigating relationships, social media, stress, and managing expectations.

I think the thing that makes this book so truly engaging is the way Soregaroli lays bare her personal struggles without pretension or polish. Her willingness to be honest—to share something so deeply person and real—offers readers emotional permission to be real with themselves and, maybe, share their own stories. In a world dominated by Instagram and images of ‘perfection’, Becoming Me, Again cuts through the white noise and reminds us that it's okay to feel lost, uncertain, or overwhelmed – showing us that it is part of the journey and that vulnerability is a strength, not a flaw. No matter how lost we may feel, Soregaroli reminds us that we can always find a way to become us, again.

For young people, this book is a mirror: they may find themselves in Natasha’s words and feel a little less alone because of it. For parents, it is a rare and valuable insight into the emotional lives of today’s teenagers—a door into a world often kept behind closed bedroom doors. Although Soregaroli’s story may not be that of others (a point she makes clear in the opening of her book), it is an invitation into a greater conversation – one we should all be a part of.

Authentically written, heartfelt, and bravely vulnerable, Becoming Me, Again is not just a book—it’s a companion for the journey through adolescence – as Soregaroli says, it is for those who feel alone... This book is must-read for teens navigating their own journeys through the mindfield of adolescence, and for the adults who want to understand and support them better.

  • An important account of how the challenges of growing up in the age of social media. - AnjelaG

“Becoming Me Again” is a courageous account of a young woman’s journey through adolescence. With honesty, vulnerability and strength, Natasha Soregaroli, explores the challenges of growing up, from a young woman’s perspective. This important book navigates through anxiety, positive identity, self-worth and striving towards the idea of “girl power”.

This is an important read for youth, parents and educators, and is a reminder of the value of being seen and heard. It is a book I am looking forward to introducing to my university students when we delve into the subject of self-advocacy.

  • Great Insights - Lucybooks

Insecurity and discovering one’s identity is a universal experience, yet many of us still feel alone in these struggles. "Becoming Me, Again" captures the essence of the fragility of one’s confidence, and the journey to acceptance that can be best achieved through the brave stories and brutal honesty of an 18 year old girl. Readers across ages, genders and generations can reflect and relate to the intense ups and downs and insecurities of growing up. At a time in our lives when we feel alone, abandoned, unstable, Natasha’s book offers comfort and familiarity. Through thoughtful reflections, and intensely vulnerable confessions, Natasha challenges readers to examine and redefine their perceptions and assumptions of friendship, beauty, relationships, and self-worth. Throughout the book, Natasha encourages us to appreciate our uniqueness, rather than fear it. The title signifies that we are all continuously becoming ourselves time and time again, and emphasizes that at each stage, we are worthy of love, respect, and grace—especially by our harshest critics: ourselves. Helpful for parents, teachers and people in these experiences, Natasha’s raw and heartfelt confessions help us recognize that we are more than our worst thoughts, and we can become, live, accept and find joy in being our true selves.

  • An Amazing, Vulnerable, and Special Book - Andyjg47

This book was fantastic - a deep dive into the author's teenage years brings readers comfort and relatability through building an immensely vulnerable and meaningful relationship between the reader and the author. No matter how old you are or what your life experiences have been, there is absolutely something you can gain from reading this book, but I especially think this book can hold inspirational and valuable meaning for young girls who are struggling with their self-worth and sense of identity. I would recommend this to anybody and everybody.

  • A Raw, Sincere Journal in the Words of a Teenager - Cameron S

Highly recommend this book for any teenagers who are struggling with their sense of self worth and parents of teenagers who want a glimpse into what their child may be going through. I particularly loved how the chapters read like personal journal entries: raw and emotional, but always sincere. Natasha doesn’t pretend to have all the answers, but her stories are reminders that we’re not alone in our thoughts or struggles. Natasha also offers actionable advice, highlighting strategies that helped her become herself, again. I admire the courage it must have taken to write and publish something so vulnerable, and anyone who takes the time to read it will come away better for it.

  • Refreshing and Important Perspective - Christine S

What an inspiring book! Soregaroli dives into complex teenage issues with an important, yet underrepresented perspective. Becoming Me, Again touches on many of the most common themes of adolescence from self image to friendships, and everything in between. Her recounts of her teenage years and how she dealt with problems she face will help guide teenagers through their own problems, with the help of an honest and relatable perspective.

  • An inspiring and sincere book - CREO

Becoming Me Again took me back to my teenage years, that intense period filled with big dreams but also marked by doubt and constant questioning and comparisons. Back then, I would have loved to read a story like Natasha’s, one that could have broadened my perspective and reminded me I wasn’t alone in my uncertainty.

With courage and authenticity, Natasha shares her inner dialogues, exploring everything that can shake a teenage girl’s confidence: the impact of social media and cinema, stress, anxiety, friendship, negative thoughts, and assumptions. By retracing the path she took to build her inner strength and shape her identity, she inspires with every chapter.

A book to share without hesitation with a teenager or with parents.
